The Elections are NOT OVER yet!

We are getting a lot of questions about political signs and the election being over. We still have a general election on November 8th. County Treasurer, County Sheriff, House District 17, 18, 39 and 48, Senate District 13. Mayoral races and city council races, school boards and special districts are still to be determined on November 8th!

In fact, the filing period for the Libertarian Party or other minor parties ended on August 15th. Independents, school boards, and special districts filing does not end until August 29th.

The ballots for the General Election will not go to print until all of the filing periods are over.

So don’t get rid of your signs for those races just yet.

Yesterday was just the Primary Election, even though it was a big one, and that just whittles down which Republicans or Democrats will be on the General Election Ballot.

If a candidate lost in the Primary Election then they have around ten days to remove signs. (This does not include the Green River Mayoral race or city council candidates for Rock Springs or Green River.)

We still have a lot of work ahead of us. We can do this!!
