Why don’t we support this tax? Don’t we want ambulance service?
We want ambulance services to be funded properly BUT we want a PLAN before asking for more money.
Read the timeline below. In January 2021, the first Intergovernmental Meeting is held with the Sweetwater County Commission and municipalities to form working groups and discuss solutions to concerns with services provided, including ambulance service.
From February to May 2021 these meetings were held monthly.
June 2021 - they find a solution - General Purpose Tax
More money but NO PLAN!!
