The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposed Resource Management Plan (RMP) WILL DEVASTATE the economy, industry, and way of life in Sweetwater County and Southwest Wyoming!
The FIRST step, and most important for now, is to ATTEND the Rock Spring BLM meeting for the public.
WE NEED TO SHOW UP!! Everyone always asks what they can do to affect change in their community - THIS IS IT!
FLOOD THE BALLROOM WITH SWEETWATER COUNTY RESIDENTS!!
It is absolutely worth taking work off, rescheduling any activity you have for that day, etc.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMMENT! Do your part and SHOW UP!!

The Sweetwater County Board of County Commissioners is the board that is the body that is spearheading this opposition. They are doing a fantastic job, but they need the help of ALL citizens. Our Sweetwater County legislators are doing what they can to support our Sweetwater County Commission.
Commissioner Island Richards has began to put information out on his website with the links to the BLM proposed Resource Management Plan information and maps and also details how to follow the BLM process for public comment. Please note that the document he uploaded shows the old location of the Rock Springs meeting. The new location is the Holiday Inn as noted above.
